This is where the next world record muskie will come from sooner or later.

I have been fishing this area for over 40 years & know of a 68 pound muskie that was netted by wildlife officers & released.
Several have been caught over 60 pounds in this area over the years.
The Key River outlet to Georgian Bay Islands is located at route 69 & Key River Junction about half way between Parry Sound & Sudbury Ontario, Canada.
Ludgate, Ontario is the nearest town but not much there.
You will put in at The Key River & go 8 miles out into Georgian Bay.
You can stay at one of the lodges or fish camps out there or you can camp out on the islands in French River Provincial Park.
One fishermen saw a huge muskie try to grab a sea gull repeatedly & the fish jumped six feet out of the water.
They estimated it at least 70 to 80 pounds.
One couple had a huge muskie on for over an hour & they estimated 80 to 100 pounds easy.
Both of them were expert muskie fishermen & neither the type to exaggerate.
Better get it before I do.
They come in season at the end of June & I will be there after The New World Record Muskie.
